Tournament Results
Champ Flight - Ty Taylor would hit the turn with a 1 stroke lead on the field. Having a consistent back nine, he would not only finish the day with a +2 (74) but also claim his first victory on Tour by 3 strokes. Looking forward to seeing what is to come with him in the Champ Flight.
A Flight - Tell me if you've heard this story before this season. At the turn it was a tight race between our top 2 players, as they would battle throughout the back nine. Eventually we would have our champion, and making this his 4th victory of the season, Jacob Howard would end the day with a +3 (75) with Rick Silva taking second with a +6 (78).
B Flight - There would be a battle all day with half the flight in the mix with nine holes to go. But a solid back nine would be the determining factor for our champion. Chris Rocha would take the victory with a +6 (78) and making it his second victory this season. Kenny Crowe would put up a fight, but would end up in second place with a +9 (81).
C Flight - At the turn we would have three players tied with and handful right behind them. It would be a battle until the end, with a possible playoff. But in the end Ron Brantley would hold off the flight and take his first victory of the season with a +11 (83). Jerome Bingham would take second with a +13 (85) for the day.
D Flight - To complete the theme of this event, this flight would also have a battle to the final hole. At the turn half the field was within a stroke, and it would take all 18 holes to determine a Champion. Thomas Christianson would end the day with a +23 (95), making this his first victory of the season. Ozzy Vasquez would take second from a scorecard playoff with Federico Corral. They would both shoot a +25 (97) for the day.
