Travis Fore Shoots 69; Bettin, Broennle & Russ Win Playoffs At Eagle Dunes

It was another pleasant spring day as 80 players challenged the Eagle Dunes Golf Club course in Sorrento, FL.  It was our third event of the season.  

The Championship flight went to new member Erik MacDonald with an even par 72.  Chad Frank was second on 74.  Fran's 74 was good for the Senior Championship flight victory--by one stroke over Al Clerico

Travis Fore shot the round of the day--a 69--to take A flight by four over Daniel Grega (73).  Sam Bellamy (76) was three more back in third. Michael Kofil won the Senior A flight with 78.  Robbie Robinson was second (82).  Travis earlned a promotion to Championship flight next time out.  Great playing!

In the B flight and senior B flight, Brad Bettin took top honors after a playoff with Mark Klenck.  Both shot 77.  Rowland Brown (79) was third at in both flights..  Brad earned a promotion to A Flight the next time out.

Ths C flight went to tour veteran Rick Broennle won a playoff with Gator Gatrell (Tamps) after both shot 85.  It was two better than Wayne Creese in senior C. 

     
Robert Russ (D Flight)

Robert Russ topped D flight with 83 after a playoff with Jake Russo.  Jake, a new member, moved to B flight next time out..  Shaun Southward was third at 87.
