FRANK WINS ONE PLAYOFF, LOSES ANOTHER; KLENCK DOUBLE IN B, SrB; PINKNEY, EBERLY SCORE WINS IN C & D

The Golfweek Amateur Tour opened a busy July with the Sunshine The Cleaning Masters Open @ ChampionsGate Resort.  We played the International course.   Jeff Moritz and Chad Frank finished tied at one over 73.  Chad doubles in the Senior Tour and John Ward matched his 73 there.  So, the three headed back out with Chad playing 2 playoffs at once.  Chad took the Golfweek  Championship flight title on the first hole over Moritz.    Chad found the water on the second playoff hole and enabled Ward to win the Senior Championship flight.

A Flight saw Eric Huffington eke out a 1 shot win after shooting 78.  The win extended his lead in the A Flight Player of the Year race.  Brett Hays (Nashville) was second.  Mike Lombardo shot 79 and grabbed a one shot win over Byron Murrell, Doug Conklin and Bill Rambo in Senior A flight.

Mark Klenck won the Golfweek & Senior B flights. Dan Seidenfaden and Chet Parker were second in B & Senior B, respectively.   Jonathan Pinkney won the C Flight with 87.  Wayne Creese won the Senior C flight.  

The D flight saw Steve Eberly shoot 92 and win for the second straght week.
