TWO PLAYOFFS HIGHLIGHT OPENING DAY AT BLACK BEAR

The members of the Orlando Golfweek Amateur Tour opened the 2017 season at the DBG Promotions Open @ Black Bear Golf Club in Eustis on a sunny, breezy spring day.  Tour veteran Jacob Richard and Jeff Moritz tied for the top spot in Championship flight with 72's.  Jacob won the playoff on the first extra hole.  On the senior Championship flight side Dennis Brady carded 74 and took the the top prize. 

Ryan Huisman took the A flight after a round of 79--the only score under 80 in the flight.  On the senior A side, Ed Paterniti shot 80 for first place.

Ray Rodriguez was victorious in the B flight and the senior B flight after a fine score of 80.  Rick Whitman in the C and senior C flights also took home both victories.

The D flight had a three way playoff with first year player Austin Grimm beating tour veteran Rich Williams and Nashville tour member Mark Cole on the second extra hole.
