FINISH TOP FIVE IN SENIORS
Not even Hurricane
Matthew could stop the Golfweek Amateur Tour Championship from coming to
Hilton Head this year. The Championship was pushed back a month--to
Nov. 11-13--and held just in front of the 2016 Senior Amateur Tour
Championship (Nov. 15-16), making it a true Championship Week. Over 650
players competed in the rescheduled Golfweek Amateur Tour Championship.

SENIOR TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP
Senior Team Orlando Takes 4th in Senior Team Cup
The
Senior Amateur Tour Championship kept its same dates this year (Nov.
15-16), but it felt different as the Golfweek Amateur Tour Championship
had to be moved back after hurricane Matthew, resulting in back to back
Tour Championships. Nearly 250 seniors played in four flights for
individual titles as well as the Senior Team Cup. Senior Team Orlando
fared very well. John Ward took 5th place in the Champ flight. Michel Dion finished second in A flight. Richard Maxey had Orlando's best score in B flight and Rick Whitman placed 10th in C flight.
Senior Prize Winners--(L-R) John Ward (5th Place Champ), Michel Dion (2nd Place A),
