KENNEY , RESTREPO, PATERNITI WIN GOLFWEEK & SENIOR FLIGHTS; FERRETTI CLAIMS TOP SPOT IN GOLFWEEK A FLIGHT

The members of the Orlando Golfweek Amateur Tour returned to a place we played several years ago.  It has a new name and a lot more grass than we remembered!  Indian River Preserve, formerly Walkabout Golf Club is under new management.  There is a new clubhouse and the golf course was as challenging as any we played all year.  This was also our next to last event for the season.  The regular season will close September 10 at ChampionsGate National.

Ed Paterniti shot 76 and it was good enough to top Championship Flight.  Tom Dillon and John Ward tied for second with 78's.  On the senior Championship flight side John Ward took tthe top spot. 

Mike Ferretti took the A flight with a nice 76.  Andy Baker was the only other A flight player to break 80.  He shot 79.  Kheary Swan (80) finsished 3rd.

Jim Kenney put up a low score of 80 to take the B flight by 4 shots over Dan Seidenfaden.  Rick Broennle was next with 85.  Kenney also won the senior B Flight as Joe Crosby was a distant second, eight shots back.

Juan Restrepo was also a double winner as his 87 stood up for Golfweek C and Senior C flight victories.  Roland Brown took second wit 89.  Danny Hinkley shot 96 to win D flight by 1 over Jeremy Mccloud and Ken Ross.
