BILL SHUFELT SCORES HOLE IN ONE

FRANK WINS FOR 1ST TIME IN 2016; WALKER WINS 3RD TITLE IN SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP;  3 PLAYOFFS SETTLE A, SENIOR A & C FLIGHTS

It was another perfect spring day at the Ron Garl designed Victoria Hills Golf Club.  It was the tour's first visit since 2011.  The highlight of the day came from Bill Shufelt as he used a 4-iron on the 192 yard third hole to record an ace. 

Chad Frank scored his first victory of 2016 with a 2-under par 70.  New member Richie Hunt and Danny Nash tied second on 73.  Cory Walker's 78 edged Bill Shufelt in senior Championship flight by one shot.  Jeff Shi (Jax) beat Depriest Bowers on the first extra hole to take A flight. Michel Dion birdied the first playoff hole to beat Ed Paterniti and Donnie Dunivant in a 3-way playoff for senior A flight.  It was the second tournament in a row where A & senior A were decided in playoffs.  Jay Williams (Arkansas) took the C flight in another 3-way playoff.  He bead Brian Mack and Bill Robertson.
