REGULAR SEASON ENDS; FRANK WINS 8TH PLAYER OF YEAR AWARD; RAY RODRIGUEZ WINS ERIC BAKER SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD

The 2015 regular season came to an end on September 5 at ChampionsGate on the National course.  Following the golf, the annual Awards Luncheon took place in Champions Hall.  Chad Frank won his unprecedented 8th Player of the Year award in the Championship Flight.  All Players of the Year are pictured below.

The fourth annual Eric Baker Sportsmanship Award was presented to Ray Rogriguez by Eric's parents, Andy and Chaddi Baker.  During lunch the players enjoyed a slide show prepared by Mark Farrow that has become an annual event.  The tour announced that over $4200 had been raised for the Eric Baker Junior Golf Fund and Stand Up 2 Cancer.  Following the Eric Baker Memorial Scramble on September 19 the final totals will be announced.  The Eric Baker Fund supports four junior golf programs--Little Linksters, Citrus Junior Tour, Lake County Junior Golf, and the US Blind Golf Association Junior Golf program.

The invitations to the Tour Championship in Hilton Head were announced at the luncheon.  Six players were able to qualify on the last day of the regular season proving once again that nothing is certain until the last putt is holed.
