TAL JOHNSON, BILL SHUFELT & JOHN FRY PUT UP STRONG PERFOMANCES AT WALKABOUT
The weather front moved through, temps cooled and the windy conditions proved a tough combination for tour members at Walkabout on April 20. It was the tour's first visit to the course in four years. The ones who had never played the course really struggled. But on a tough day to play, everyone earned the score they posted..
Championship Flight: Tal Johnson, a second year player, led the way with a 75 that included a 2-under par 34 on the front nine--he played it second as he started on #10. So that was a strong finish. Chad Frank was second after a 79. John Henry took third. He posted 80.
