SPONSORS CONTINUE SUPPORT OF GOLFWEEK
AMATEUR TOUR/ORLANDO
We are excited aboout
the sponsor support we receive each year for the Golfweek Amateur Tour
Orlando. This year is no exception as our sponsors have really stepped
up. We have sponsors who support us with prizes for tournaments as well as
sponsoring our tournament day games--Closest to the Pin and
Challenge Hole. There is a reason that we have been "central
Florida's Tour of Choice" since 1997.
Every year we add new members. You can joinn the fun by clicking "Join the Tour" on the left side of this page.
Here are this year's sponsor
partners. - Golfweek magazine--Every 2013 member of the
tour receives a 1-year subscription to Golfweek
magazine (a $35 value). In addition Golfweek provides results
from AGT tours across the country. One page in each issue is dedicated to the
tour.
- Edwin Watts
Golf will continue as the Official Gift Card of the Golfweek
Amateur Tour Orlando (16h year!). We gave out over $40,000 in gift
cards in 2012. Our tour scorecards will continue to have the tear off strip
with a discount coupon to Edwin Watts Golf. You win just by
playing.
- Dennis
Brady and Denny's restaurants will again
sponsor the Super Skins Game on October 6. A host course will be named later.
- Carrabba's
Italian Grill provides gift cards for our prize packages.
- Wilson
Golf will again provide product for our prize packages at tournaments.
- Wayne
Zeigler continues to supply suncare products for the member gift bag.
- PowerBilt
Golf returns to the tour in a big way in 2013. They will again sponsor
the PowerBilt Closest to the Pin contest at each tournament.
This year they will provide two new Powerbilt AFO Tour wedges--56 & 60
degrees--for each tournament.
- Challenge Hole
Game returns. We are proud to welcome back Lawrence
Blunk and Palm Springs Printing &
Central Florida Publishing as a sponsor partner in 2013. They
will sponsor the Palm Springs Printing &
CFP Challenge. This is a game pattenred after the Kodak
Challenge Hole on the PGA Tour. There is a link at the top right above, between
the Schedule and the Points Standings. You can click on it to see the rules of
the game and how it works.
So, as you can see, it promises
to be a terrific year. Please thank Dennis, Wayne,
Ryan, Lawrence and any other sponsor representative you may see at our
events for their support of the tour. We hope you won't want to miss a single
event. Opening Day is nearing and the event has sold out several years in a
row.
