STEVE CLEARY SCORES ACE & WINS THE A FLIGHT AT ORANGE LAKE; DENNIS BRADY TOPS IN REGULAR AND SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIIP FLIGHTS
We had some thunder at Orange Lake on Saturday afternoon, but it was Steve Cleary who made the most noise. He fired a seven-iron from 143 yards into the hole on #12 for the first hole in one on tour since Ray Vigeant last year. It was Steve's second career hole in one. Not only did he score an ace, but he tied with John Marshall for first place in A flight with terrific scores of 73. Steve struck just as quickly in the playoff as he beat John on the first extra hole. On any other day, David J. Parker would have taken top honors. But his 75 was good for third place this week. Dennis Cargo and Will Young were next on 76. .
