RESULTS FOR PLAYERS CLUB ST JAMES PLANTATION
Well the weather guy was a little off…….. I don’t think we saw mid 50’s. But we still had a good day and I think a good experience with the Players Club. It’s a real nice layout, again good service from the staff. I know for some this is a little long to travel, but from what I have seen from them it’s worth it. And if you learn the short cut that eliminates going through Little River you will save about 20-30 min on trip… If you’re not sure what it is give me a call 866-918-4653. Also reminder you will receive your winning gift certificates at the next event…. And the following players did not take there door prizes: LEE ROBERTS, WON ST JAMES GOLF, RICKEY HAMMOND WON BRUNSWICK GOLF.
Now for the winning players:
REGULAR DIVISION: In the Champ Flight Tony Apperson ($70) won with a 76 that included 3 birdies, 2nd went to Phil Pfeiffer ($50) who had a 78 with one birdie. In the A Flt the winner was new member Brian Holzberger playing in his first tournament he had an 87 with one birdie on the back. Also his scorecard is testament to the phrase “never give up”. Brian shot a smooth 49 on his front side but improved to a 38 on the back….. How about that!!! In 2nd place was Don Lloyd who had an 89. In the B flt Richard Dutcher from the Charlotte tour had an 85 to win ($40).
SENIOR DIVISION: Champ flight Denny Adkins ($60) was the winner with a 77 with a birdie, Charles Moore finished one stroke back at 78. In the A Flt John Sloper ($40) won with an 81. In the B Flt Larry Smothers ($80) won with an 89. In the C Flt Jack Sudol ($40) won with an 86.
