Well we finally
got this event off… weather was threatening but we made it and it was worth the
wait with a good day and a lot of fun.
And before
we get into the golf which was pretty good… gotta take a minute to thank Billy
Hill, one of the Hill boys on Charleston tour, for his generous act. You see
Billy was the winner of our 50/50 Sanfilippo charity, and pot this week was
$205… when we gave the envelope to Billy, he asked me if this was for the “little
girl” I said yes…. And he said, “keep it”!!! Great action and appreciated by
all, a nice $400 day for the Sanfilippo fund… and to follow up on other winners…
2nd place Foursome at Orangeburg went to Biff Huff (be sure to ask
to play) and golf balls (white) went to Mike Miller….nobody claimed the yellow
ones so they will go to the driving range in the sky!!! Thanks again to all for
a great two weeks for Sanfilippo…… and now for the golf
